How can FairCab be so much cheaper than other cabs?
At FairCab we only work with pre-ordered rides. This enables us to plan our work efficiently; our drivers hardly have to wait between rides and we keep our taxi’s occupied as much as possible. This keeps our costs low and allows us to offer you the best price possible.
Booking your taxi
How long in advance should I book my ride?
At this point in time it is only possible to book your ride up to 24 hours before departure. If you need a cab within the next 24 hours, please call us and we will make you an offer by phone. We are working hard and expect that it will be possible in the future to book a ride online up to 4 hours before departure.
Is it possible to book a return and what are the advantages?
Our system allows you to book a return ride (just tick the box).
What should I do if I have questions about the booking confirmation?
If you have any questions about the confirmation you have received by e-mail, or any question in general, please contact our customer service at +31103074211.
Is it possible to change the booking once made
At this point in time you can only change your booking by calling our customer service at +31103074211. We expect to develop our online system so that in the future you will be able to change online.
I want to pick up a friend/colleague. Is it possible to add another address once I have made a booking?
Yes this is possible by sending us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org or calling our customer service at: +31103074211.
We are a group that live at different addresses, how can we make the booking?
To make your trip even more affordable & fun, you can always of course travel together with friends and/or family. Please give us a call (+31103074211) or send us an email (email@example.com) for a custom price offer.
Are children counted as passengers?
Due to local and international safety regulations, all children count as a full passenger.
How much luggage can I take with FairCab?
During the booking process, you will be able to choose a normal car (4 passengers, 2 big suitcases, 2 small), a stationwagen (3 big suitcases, 3 small) or a minivan/taxivan (7 passengers, 6 big suitcases, 4-5 small).
To and from the airport
Why do you need the flight number?
We advise you to always fill in the flight number when you make your booking, so that we can keep track of any delays in your flight or other disruptions that may impact your trip. This way we can make sure you reach your destination on time.
What should I do when I arrive at the airport?
We kindly ask you to send us a message or give us a call. Our driver will pro-actively send you a message approximately 30 minutes before your planned arrival time. This way you can easily find our driver at the airport once your arrive.
My flight has been delayed/cancelled. What should I do?
Our customer service actively tracks all delays and cancellations, hence the importance of filling in your flight number when you make your booking. If your flight is cancelled, we will reach out to you by phone to discuss your booking.
Should I tip the driver?
This is of course not mandatory and at your own discretion.
Should I expect any charges to be paid in the taxi?
No, there is nothing left to pay in our taxi. All payments are securely made online on our website through MultiSafePay (creditcard or Ideal).
Can I smoke in the taxi?
No, unfortunately it is not allowed to smoke in the taxi.
Can I travel with a wheelchair?
Unfortunately we can not transport passengers in wheelchairs that require custom (fixed) arrangements. Should you wish to take a wheelchair with you, please contact us and we will try to offer you a solution.
What about special seats for small children?
Our taxi’s (like all other taxi’s in the Netherlands) are not required to transport children in special children seats, children travel in taxi’s just like any other passenger.
Can I bring my pet in the taxi?
Yes, pets are allowed in FairCabs.

Can I cancel my booking?
Cancellations can be made only by phone and up to 4 hours before departure. You will then either get a refund or you can choose to a book a new ride with us.
How do I get my money back if I cancel?
We will refund the full price within 3 working days after you made your cancellation, either on your creditcard or bank account.
